Horrible out of shape. Laid into it for 4 miles or so and then dogged it. Aparently, doing nothing physical for five weeks sans nocternalities isn’t good for biking stamina. I would have stayed out longer, but I had to make an appointment. I highly recommend every biker invest in a CamelBak. Kirk gave me one for graduation, and I love it! It rocks!
As a minor last horrah, our DDS class renter out a rooftop for the Cubs game. I have to admit that the view really was pretty good. The food wasn’t bad, either. Discussion of the rooftop business indicated that the owner of that particular rooftop makes $24-26,000 PER GAME! With some 60 home games, that’s $1,560,000 per year for that one building! And, yes, his silver Lamborghini Diablo was parked in back.
While at the Arizone Biltmore, I picked up a $10 bill as change. It was stamped with a web address for tracking where it had been. I typed the serial number in at the Where’s George site, and there you go. Neat-o.
